Lebanon is the largest host of refugees, offering safety and refuge to over 1.5 million refugees fleeing war. It’s own population of 2 million is struggling with severe poverty, unemployment, inflation and economic instability. As a result, Lebanese communities families are facing hunger due to a lack of food, poverty, a lack of access to clean water, healthcare, and employment opportunities. Access to food is a major concern, affecting the health and wellbeing of populations and causing malnutrition among children. The situation was worsened by Covid-19.
Children of Adam is running a bakery in Lebanon, baking fresh bread every day. Freshly baked bread is distributed among refugee communities and vulnerable Lebanese families, benefiting 1,000 people every single day. We are also distributing food parcels to help combat hunger, supporting families to make healthy, nutritious meals. Donate now to provide nutritious bread and food to refugees and Lebanese families, helping to tackle hunger. By providing food, we are able to combat malnutrition and starvation, keeping people healthy, safe and well nourished. Donate now.
