How you can Help

About the Appeal

The heart of any Muslim community in the world is a masjid. A masjid is a place to pray, reach out to Allah (swt), bow our heads in prostration and gratitude, and to find some solace. An integral part of being able to pray or read Qur’an in a masjid, is being able to perform wudhu. However, in many impoverished communities, masjids, if there is even one, are often simple structures without any washing facilities. There usually isn’t enough funds available for the building of a wudhu area. This makes it difficult for those who wish to pray, but may have travelled some distance.

Children of Adam are building wudhu facilities to help ensure brothers and sisters everywhere always have the opportunity to make salah in accordance with Islamic guidelines. Many existing wudhu facilities are poorly constructed, leaving them as a breeding ground for bacteria. Many of the communities who lack wudhu facilities also face severe issues in accessing clean water, which puts them at even more risk of the spread of disease and illness. Build a wudhu facility today and help bring cleanliness, peace and a spiritual boost to communities in need.
