When the fast ends at sunset, many families simply don’t have food. Your donation provides Iftar and, where possible, support for suhoor so parents can feed their children with dignity throughout Ramadan.
We prioritise locations with the highest need and safe access. Programmes typically include Gaza, Pakistan, Yemen, Nepal, Lebanon and parts of East Africa. Final locations depend on assessments, security and procurement at the time of delivery.
Your support funds practical, locally sourced food assistance during Ramadan. Depending on need and access, this may include:
Hot meals daily for Iftar and Suhoor at community sites, mosques, or shelters
Family food packs with staples such as rice/flour, pulses, oil, dates and sugar
Fresh produce and protein where feasible to improve nutrition
Clean drinking water or water treatment where supply is limited
Local procurement and delivery, prioritising vulnerable households (widows, orphans, elderly, disabled)
Zakat: Allocated to eligible recipients in line with policy.
Sadaqah: Voluntary charity any day of Ramadan.
Fidya/Kaffarah: If applicable to your circumstances, we can direct this to food support in line with guidance.
Local partners verify households and prioritise the most vulnerable. Where possible we source food locally to reduce costs and support markets. We publish dated distribution updates with photos and delivery summaries.
Providing Iftar at sunset and, where possible, support for suhoor before dawn to people who cannot afford these meals.
Costs vary by country and market prices. We display current tiers on this page each Ramadan and adjust if prices change.
