Mark a blessed moment or give purely for the sake of charity. With Children of Adam, you can arrange an Aqiqah for a newborn or a Sadaqah Sacrifice at any time of year. We carry out the sacrifice according to Islamic guidelines and distribute the meat to people in need through our trusted field teams.

What is Aqiqah?

Aqiqah is a voluntary act of gratitude performed to celebrate the birth of a child. Many families aim to do it on the seventh day after birth. If that isn’t possible, it can be done later. Aqiqah is commonly observed as two animals for a boy and one for a girl, where affordable and available.

What is a Sadaqah Sacrifice?

A Sadaqah Sacrifice is a voluntary act of charity that may be offered any time in the year to benefit vulnerable people. It is not the same as Qurbani/Udhiyah, which is tied to specific days in Dhul Hijjah.

Comparison of purpose, timing, animals, beneficiaries, donor notes, and flexibility.
